Inspired by. . . self-portrait
Bonnie's challenge this week is: self-portrait
Like many artists I'm not partial to the "self" part of this particular challenge.
So I went back to the definition of the word for some inspiration.
The main definition of course is: a pictorial representation of a person usually showing the face
I found my inspiration in the third definition: a graphic portrayal in words
Textured with Bonnie's heavenly texture, followed by her soft reflections texture
It should be noted that the only word I contributed to this image was "impatient."
There are a lot of wonderful pictures hanging in the Gallery this week. Be sure to click over and have a look.
Have a wonder-filled day,

Brilliant piece of work, I think eyes are fascinating, the window to our soul...

ReplyDeletethis is beautiful!
ReplyDeletethis is a wonderful self-portrait. it reminded me of a self-portrait project I did 2 years ago for a girls' empowerment camp week. I did photos of them all the first day and they had me DOing feet and arms and shoes and then they put them together in a collage. I had fun DOing one of my own with my name and words for each letter: Curiously Understanding Respectful Responsible Inspired Encourager. That's on my wall even still and I loved how you reminded me to look at it!!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful......a different take on a portrait. With words that speak to you. Brilliant.
ReplyDeleteJune, this is very unique and creative. I like the fingers in front and the beautiful color. The words add a lot to it. There is just so much going on, it's really fun.
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely. The tones, texture, words and photo all blend together perfectly. I love seeing you through your eyes (or eye).
ReplyDeleteThis is very creative and beautiful!
