About this Blog

This blog was begun back in May of 2011 as a place to talk about and promote the books. But it has become so much more. The ultimate goal of Inspired by . . . hasn't changed. The underlying inspiration for everything I do is my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am merely a scribe. The words flow best when I listen, and allow the words to flow through me, rather than trying to invent them myself.

I view this blog and my writing as a privilege – not a right. I am beyond honored when He encourages and uplifts you through the words you read here. I know He has done this, because you have told me. Through your sweet comments, you have inspired and blessed me in return.

So. Many. Times.

I would love to hear from you. You may contact me through the website http://www.junecaedmon.com or via email at: inspiredbyjune@gmail.com

About June Caedmon

“Act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God.”

Hi, I'm June.

June is actually my middle name and the name that I chose to write under almost 20 years ago when I started writing. So if you are checking out some of my other on-line accounts and see the name Wendy, don't be confused, that's me too!

Many of my book ideas have come to me in dreams. So for the second half of my pseudonym, I chose the sir name Caedmon, after a 5th-century monk who wrote poetry given to him in dreams sent from God.

Whether through my stories, daily devotionals or blog posts, I hope to encourage my readers toward a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

My writing journey began unexpectedly in 2002 when I wrote my first novel. Since then I've written seven novels and self-published four of them.

So, who am I?

Writer is a good description. Storyteller or scribe is better. First, though, I am a daughter of the King. Wife and helper to my loving husband, Michael. Friend. Daughter. Sister. Dog-mom. Artist.

I am...
...stirred most deeply by the small and seemingly insignificant things of His creation. Socially awkward. Coffee drinker. Tea sipper. More salty than sweet. Bubble blower.

Saved by grace.
