Inspired by... beautiful quotes
Kim's wrapping up a week of beautiful, inspiring quotes by encouraging us to add a quote to our textured photo this week. I was hoping to post a "quote a day" this week, but LIFE got in the way {smile}. I still plan to complete Kim's challenge, so over the next few weeks I'll be sharing some of my favorite quotes with you.
If you read my top ten, you know that butterflies are one of my favorite things in life. They bring me such JOY! Change, on the other hand, is one of my least favorite things. Ironic, isn't it, that one wouldn't exist without the other?
This has been a life lesson for me.
Change can be difficult, hurtful and scary sometimes. And circumstances often don't look at all like the end result. Does that description sound a little bit like the butterflies metamorphosis?
It also sounds a lot like God's work in my life, at times.
Thankfully, there is another lesson here that's important to remember. Especially when the circumstances are making us anxious. God's in charge of the...
...end result...
And it's always beautiful!
For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for good and
not for evil to give you a future and a hope. (Jer 29:11)
Have a wonder-filled day,
For you texture buffs: First image textured with Kim's "oh, my"; overlay blend 80% and then another layer of "oh, my" using multiply blend at 72%
Sharing inspiration here:
I am so envious of you right now! I have chased butterflies all over our place and have never gotten a decent shot. I guess it could be the "chasing" thing that's the problem. I can't wait them out! Very beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work. Lots of patience on your part to wait for that butterfly! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining Think Quotes It's Friday. What a great quote. Change is a part of our life whether we like it or not!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the God work.

ReplyDeletevery beautiful photo, love the texture added!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great thought. I don't always like change either. So glad that God knows what he's doing. I'm visiting from Lori's blog. God bless.
