ReplyDeleteIt's like 'home week' for me. My husband was born in Colorado Springs, I lived in the NW part of Colorado for over 40 years, I've seen the Lincoln Monument and driven over Monarch pass a gazillion times in my life....and saw the pristine beauty of Autumn in the Rockies. You've really given me a thrill this weekend. Your magpie is awesome too....we don't get them down this far south in Texas. A special treat all the way around for me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the link this weekend at I'd Rather B Birdin'
THERE's Royal Gorge! :-) You saw it for us. :-) Oh, what stunning photos! Just loved all the shots of the places you visited. Very different from our trip. There's so much to see in that varied state (a lot like AZ!) Loved the magpie too.
