Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die:

Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches;

feed me with food convenient for me:

Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the Lord?

or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain. Prov 30:7-9

You have made known to me the ways of life;
You will make me full of JOY in Your presence. Acts 2:28

  1. Hi June! I really like the idea of not having riches, and not being in want. It's a healthy balance, both in the world, and in my soul. Sure, I think about winning the lottery (I think I have to buy a ticket though...), but I wonder how happy I would be? It's good to be reminded that happiness is in being grateful for what I have!
    Have a peaceful Sunday,
    Ceil
