Inspired by . . . Day 19: JOYful ponderings
This post is part of a 31 day series on JOY
You may access all the past days by clicking here.
Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die:
Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with food convenient for me:
Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the Lord?
or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain. Prov 30:7-9
Sunday JOY
An offering
You have made known to me the ways of life;
You will make me full of JOY in Your presence. Acts 2:28
"JOY is prayer – JOY is strength- JOY is love – JOY is a net of love
by which you can catch souls. She gives most who gives with JOY." ~Mother Teresa
Blessings,
Special thanks to my mom for loaning me the JOY ornament – thanks, Mom!

Hi June! I really like the idea of not having riches, and not being in want. It's a healthy balance, both in the world, and in my soul. Sure, I think about winning the lottery (I think I have to buy a ticket though...), but I wonder how happy I would be? It's good to be reminded that happiness is in being grateful for what I have!
