Would we appreciate these perfect, glorious days of summer half as much if we didn't experience the dark days of winter? Would the refreshing rains mean as much to unparched lands?
As believers there is no shame when we sin for there is now no condemnation in Christ Jesus, yet, our sin should cut us to the heart - hurt us as it hurts our heavenly Father. It should bring us to our knees - not in shame - but in thanksgiving and gratitude to the One Who bore our shame - the One Who set us free!
