Welcome to another...

Greetings! Thanks for stopping by to preview the unexpected and wonderful things found this past week!

Book Review

My new friend, Holly, over at Simply Life Photographs, blessed me with her sweet review of No Tomorrow! Holly is a talented photographer whom I met through our mutual participation in Scripture & a Snapshot. I guarantee a perusal of her galleries will make you smile. And if you're in Texas and need a great photographer, I know she'd love to hear from you!

Support

I've been working my tail off for the past two months to get ready for the annual Christmas Craft Show & Rummage Sale held in the town where I live. It was a great opportunity to showcase The Books and a variety of crafts. A BIG thank you to mom for getting up at 5am and sacrificing her entire Saturday to help me. And I so appreciate all my friends who came out to support me in my first event of this kind. I feel the love and am so thankful for ALL of you!

So, what serendipitous finds did you have this week?

Blessings,

Inspired by... generosity {freebie}

What better way to start the month of November than with some generosity!!

When I first began digital scrapbooking I was amazed at how much free stuff was out there. That's not to say I haven't spent money when I found a kit I loved! But the digi scrap designers out there are a generous bunch!

Let's get started with this months free desktop, shall we?

This was made using Jenn's (Dancing Princess Designs) I am Thankful kit. I love the felt details in this kit! You can download your free desktop HERE, and fill the cornucopia with a picture of your greatest blessing!

Speaking of generosity, Jenn has a great Fan Freebie on her Facebook page! Click HERE to check it out.  Here is a layout I made that will give you a hint:

Welcome to another...

Serendipity is about finding unexpected and wonderful things. Each week on Serendipity Sunday, I share with you some of the serendipitous things I found that week!

(I just love using that word: serendipitous. It's a bit like saying Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, which is also very fun. Don't you think?)

Okay, back to what I found this week...

While doing Blog Train downloads, I found Designs by Krista and absolutely fell.in.love with her designs!

Aren't these papers gorgeous?

Love. Love. Love.

What's even MORE exciting is that she accepted my application to be on her Creative Team! Yay!

Here's my first LO, using her new Whimsy Collection:

Since I actually have followers on Twitter now, I'm trying to be better about sending, ah, Tweets. Admittedly, this does not come easy for me, especially since I'm careful about tweeting things I think people would actually be interested in knowing – ha!

It was on Twitter that I found out about this fantastic Giveaway!

Sweetopia is giving away two of these babies!

I can honestly say, I have never participated in any blog giveaway.

Until now.

My friend recently lent me her KitchenAid mixer and I.love.it!

Winning one of these would definitely be serendipitous!!

Click over to Sweetopia for all the entry details and please, pretty please, mention I sent you.

So we can BOTH win one!

How cool is that!

Okay, last but not least.

Remember I told you about the two births at our house earlier this week?

Well, yesterday, I discovered there were actually

THREE!

Aren't they just adorable!!!

Their eyes aren't even open yet! (can't say that about their mouths – ha!) And yes, their mouths really are that color.  I did not alter the photos in any way.

I'll try and update you on their progress. I have to be careful when I take pictures though. The sound of the camera got them so excited I thought they were going to push each other out of the nest! They must think its mamma coming to feed them.

What serendipitous finds did you have this week?

Blessings,

Welcome to another...

Here are some of the unexpected and wonderful things I found this week:

It was a little unexpected (though not necessarily wonderful) to realize another month had past.  However, that did mean...

It's time for another...

Which is very wonderful!

Did you know that over 100 designers contribute to the Blog Train!? and all their downloads are free!

Yup – free!

Here are my favorites so far (I've only had time to download the first 20!):

(previews are linked to the Designer's blog)

Oh, yeah, it was hard to pick only three! If you download, be sure to leave them some love!

I just love this "cranberry glass" Carolyn made!

She has inspired me with a few ideas of my own.  If they work out, I'll be posting about them soon!

Beautiful job, Carolyn!
